On 22 June 2022, H.E. Guillermo Puente Ordorica, Ambassador of Mexico in Islamic Republic of Iran visited ECO Secretariat and was welcomed by H.E. Amb. Khusrav NOZIRI, Secretary General Economic Cooperation Organization.

An ECO delegation headed by H.E. Ambassador Khusrav Noziri, Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), participated in the Plenary Session of the 21st Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the ECO Trade and Development Bank (ETDB) on June 21, 2022, in virtual mode.

On the joint invitation extended by Iranian Diplomacy Association (IDA) and the School of International Relations (SIR), the ECO Secretary General H.E. Mr. Khusrav Noziri participated in a Webinar, organized by IDA and SIR on June 21, 2022.

On June 20, 2022, the ECO Secretary General, H.E. Mr. Khusrav Noziri, and the President of ECO Cultural Institute, Mr. Murodjon Buriboev, met the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Anar Karimov, at the ECI headquarters in Tehran.

The 1st Forum of ECO Heads of Tourism Associations, Unions and other Tourism Stakeholders was held in virtual format on 20th June, 2022 under the chairmanship of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC). The event was attended by delegates from the ECO countries including private stakeholders and members of Tourism Associations from Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and public representatives from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

By the invitation of OSCE Secretariat, ECO Secretary General H.E. Mr. Khusrav Noziri took part virtually in the OSCE Asian Conference 2022 on “Strengthening security for all and by all – synergies and opportunities for co operation between Europe and Asia” organized by the Government of Sweden and OSCE in Vienna, Austria, on June 15, 2022.

Ladies and spouses of gentlemen staff of ECO Secretariat attended Handicrafts, Clothing and Food Charity Bazaar organized by Diplomatic Ladies Association of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran through June 15-17, 2022.

Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in close interaction with the Statistical, Economic and Social Research Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) and Department of Statistics of Malaysia from 14th to 16th June 2022 is holding an online training course on “Big Data Applications on Price Intelligence”.
