The ECO Secretary General Amb. Khusrav Noziri received the Algerian Ambassador in Iran, H.E. Mr. Ali Arroudj who visited him on November 23, 2022 in connection with exploring the possible ways and means of collaborative partnership between Algeria and the Economic Cooperation Organization.

On 23 November 2022, the workshop on “Sharing Best Practices on SME Support and Evaluation Mechanisms”, was virtually jointly organized by the ECO Secretariat and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), Republic of Türkiye.

On 22 November 2022, The 33rd Meeting of the Energy Charter Conference was held virtually in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia). ECO Secretariat as an observer was invited to attend in Ministerial and High-Level session.

The 1st Meeting of the ECO Tour Operators Network was held virtually on 22 November, 2022 with the participation of tour operators and travel agencies from Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The Project Monitoring Group held its 18th meeting to review the ongoing projects and to deliberate on the new project proposals. The representatives of the Embassies of the ECO Member-States located in Tehran and the directing staff of the ECO Secretariat attended the gathering.

On the sidelines of his participation in the 27th Session of Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27) at Sharm el-Sheikh, the ECO Secretary General, Ambassador Khusrav Noziri was interviewed by the Egyptian Akhbar Misr TV Channel.

On November 16, 2022, the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Amb. Khusrav Noziri delivered a statement in the high-level segment of the 27th Session of Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27).

On the sidelines of the 27th Session of Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27) in Sharm el-Sheikh, the ECO Secretary General met with Mr. James Grabert, UNFCCC Director of Mitigation.

On November 15, 2022, the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, H.E. Mr. Khusrav Noziri on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 27th Session of Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27) in Sharm el-Sheikh met with H.E. Ms. Tanzila Narbaeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mr. Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of Environmental Protection Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On November 15, 2022, the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Amb. Khusrav Noziri on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 27th Session of Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27) in Sharm el-Sheikh had a meeting with Ms. Inger Andersen Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
