Trade promotional activities remain the core of trade enhancement efforts in the ECO countries. It is imperative to create linkages and strengthen the existing relations between the Member States' relevant organizations so that their promotional activities and campaigns are effectively coordinated at the regional level.
The 3rd Meeting was finally held in May, 2016 in Ankara during which the draft Regional Protocol on Organizing Joint Trade Promotional Activities was approved, and the name of this meeting was changed to “ECO Trade Promotion Forum”. The next meeting will be held soon.
