The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Country’s Permanent Representative to ECO, H.E. Mr. Ontalap Onalbayev visited the ECO Secretariat to present his letter of credence to the ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri, on May 19, 2024.
Congratulating the Ambassador, the ECO Secretary General briefed the dignitary about the governing structure of the Organization and its high level events, including the upcoming High Level Committee at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers, which will discuss the review process of ECO Vision 2025 and reform proposals.
Confirming Kazakhstan’s commitment to the objectives of the Organization, H.E. Onalbayev assured the Secretariat of his strong support and close cooperation with the Secretariat for enhancing regional economic cooperation.
