President of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) Dr. Saad S. Khan paid a courtesy visit to the ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad M. Khan. The meeting underscored the rich tapestry of overlapping cultures, shared traditions, and historical ties that bind the ECO Member States into a cohesive regional entity.
The discussion featured the activities of the ECI, with a strong emphasis on its mission to showcase and preserve the cultural heritage of the region. Dr. Asad M. Khan commended the Institute for its pivotal role in promoting cultural cooperation across the region and aligning with the broader vision and objectives of the ECO and he further assured of his support in enhancing the Institute’s efficiency and effectiveness.
The ECO Cultural Institute, headquartered in Tehran, is one of the three specialized agencies of the Economic Cooperation Organization, established in 1995. It continues to play an essential role in enhancing cultural collaboration among the ECO Member States.
