In a ceremony on 13th October 2017 in Ankara, the “UN International Day for Disaster Reduction” will be celebrated in the ECO Region. The ECO Secretariat and Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) will jointly organize the Event to be attended by representatives of ECO Member States, officials from regional and international organizations and media.
