The ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri had a bilateral interaction with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Ambassador Kairat Sarybay.
The meeting reviewed the existing level of ECO-CICA working partnership and explored the prospects for expansion of their collaboration in diverse but identical areas of cooperation. Both sides agreed that their collective economic and social progress is closely linked with durable peace and stability in the region. During the communication, Ambassador Sarybay presented the CICA’s 30th Anniversary Medal to the ECO Secretary General.
This bilateral interaction was arranged on the sidelines of the 26th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers (COM) held in Tashkent on January 24, 2023.
