During his working trip to Dushanbe Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Jandos Asanov on May 15, 2024 visited the State Statistics Agency of the Republic of Tajikistan and met its Director Mr Jamshed Nurmahmadzada and discussed the implementation of the agenda of the Economic Cooperation Organisation in the field of statistics. The parties agreed to take joint steps in the realisation of ECO projects and holding various events. The Tajikistan side confirmed its participation in the 7th meeting of the ECO Permanent Steering Committee on Economic Research to be held on June 5, 2024 virtually.
