The 284th Meeting of the ECO Council of Permanent Representatives (CPR) was held on January 30, at the ECO Headquarters.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Tehran and Permanent Representative to ECO Mr. Fariddin Nasriev joined the meeting for the first time. While welcoming the new Permanent Representative, ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri also expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Tehran and Permanent Representative to ECO Mr. Ali Alizade for his able chairmanship of the CPR during 2023, and welcomed the Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ambassador Seyed Jalaledin Alavi Sabzevari as the new chairman of the Council for 2024.
