ECO Deputy Secretary General Mr. Kashif Zaman represented the Organization at Global Education Forum.
Mr. Zaman, as a keynote speaker of the opening session, highlighted significance of cooperation in scientific and educational domains. He urged the member states to invest in educational infrastructure, teacher training and curriculum development with a view to foster a culture of research and academic excellence and to create inclusive, equitable learning environments. He termed ECO Science Foundation and the ECO Educational Institute vital hubs for research collaboration and intellectual exchange.
More than 700 delegates from various countries, state authorities, international and regional organizations, specialized educational institutions and representatives from youth organizations attended the Forum.
