The Ambassador of Finland to the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Mr. Kari Kahiluoto paid a visit to the ECO Secretariat on March 1, 2022.
At the outset the ECO Secretary General, Ambassador Khusrav Noziri welcomed Ambassador of Finland and briefed him on the priority areas of the ECO activities, focusing on trade, transport and connectivity, energy, environment and tourism, as well as support for Afghanistan and organizational structure of the ECO.
The Finnish Ambassador inquired on possibilities of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between ECO and Finland in various spheres of mutual interest.
