ECO Secretary General H.E. Amb. Khusrav Noziri received in his office the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the country’s Permanent Representative to ECO H.E. Mr. Rahim Hayat Qureshi. The interaction, held on April 17, 2022, covered discussion on, inter alia, some important ECO events planned to be held this year.
The ECO Secretary General welcomed the visiting dignitary and briefed him on the preparation of 3rd General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of ECO Member States (PAECO) proposed to be organized on May 16-17, 2022 in Baku. He further updated the Ambassador on the upcoming Brainstorming Session on Reform Process and Prospects of Cooperation in the ECO region, which is planned to be convened on May 23-24, 2022 at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers.
Ambassador Qureshi thanked the Secretary General for his kind briefing, assuring Pakistan's full support and cooperation to the ECO in pursuit of Organization's envisaged aims and objectives for the shared progress and prosperity in the region.
