ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri was graciously received by His Excellency Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, amidst the ECO Delegation’s engagement in the International Conference “The main directions and opportunities of tourism development in Turkmenistan.”
In a cordial exchange, Ambassador Noziri extended sincere felicitations to President Berdimuhamedov on Nowruz and the sacred month of Ramadan. He lauded the President’s stewardship in convening a significant international conference dedicated to the advancement of tourism in Turkmenistan and expressed gratitude for the opportunity afforded to the ECO for meaningful participation. During discussion, he also elucidated ECO’s strategic imperatives encompassing trade, transport, connectivity, energy, tourism, agriculture and sustainable development, articulating the organization’s steadfast commitment to fostering regional cooperation for greater progress and prosperity.
The interaction underscored pivotal matters, including the ratification of the Transit Transport Framework Agreement (TTFA), the formalization of the ECO Clean Energy Center’s Charter and meticulous preparations for the forthcoming 1st ECO Sustainable Development Forum slated for June in Ashgabat.
President Berdimuhamedov expressed his appreciation for Secretary General Noziri’s commendable leadership in the ECO, extending heartfelt wishes for continued success in his future endeavors.
