On the eve of the 23rd Meeting of the Board of Governors of the ECO Trade and Development Bank in Istanbul, ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri held a meeting with the President of the ECO-TDB, Mr. Hashem Botshekan.
The parties discussed the current state of implementation of regional projects within the Organization, and exchanged views on increasing the role of the Bank in realisation of projects in infrastructural development to realise the goals of Organization, which include expansion of regional trade and investment and greater connectivity in the region. Furthermore, special attention was paid to the issue of expanding the membership of ETDB to include all ECO Member States.
