On the sidelines of the Peace and Trust Conference held on 11 December, 2021 in Ashgabat, the Secretary General of the ECO, H.E. Amb. Khusrav Noziri, was received by H.E. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan. At the very outset, the Secretary General congratulated the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on successful organization of the Peace and Trust Conference.

On the sidelines of the Peace and Trust Conference held on 11 December, 2021 in Ashgabat, the Secretary General of the ECO, H.E. Amb. Khusrav Noziri, was received by H.E. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan. At the very outset, the Secretary General congratulated the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on successful organization of the Peace and Trust Conference. The Secretary General appreciated the vision of the Presidnet on regionalism and expressed his gratitude for his commendable support and patronage to the ECO. He briefed the Presidnet about plan of action of the ECO to implement the decsions of the 15th ECO Summit held in Ashgabat on 28th November, 2021.

The President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underscored the importance of ECO for its tremendous potential for regional cooperation in various sectors. The Presidnet also appreciated the plan of Secretary General towards implementation of decisions of the 15th ECO Summit and congratulated him and the staff of the Secretariat for organizing the Summit in an efficient manner. He ensured the Secretary General of full support of his Government and expressed his hope that under the able leadership of Amb. Khusrav Noziri the Organization will achieve its objectives and goals set in the vision 2025 and in the recent adopted “Ashgabat Consensus for Action”.

The ECO Secretary General expressed gratitude to the President for providing opportunity to apprise him the recent developments of the organization in the aftermath of the 15th ECO Summit and seeking the President’s guidance for the realization of those objectives enshrined in the “Ashgabat Consensus for Action”.
