The ECO Secretary General, H.E. Mr. Khusrav Noziri received the Ambassador of Iraq to the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. Naseer Abdul Mohsen Abdullah Al-Karawi who visited him at the ECO Secretariat on April 6, 2022.
During the meeting, the two sides explored and discussed the possibility of establishing cooperative relationship between the ECO and the Republic of Iraq in the relevant areas of shared interest.
The ECO Secretary General highlighted the priority areas of ECO’s activities, in particular, trade and investment, transport and communication, energy and environment, tourism, human resources and sustainable development.
The visiting Ambassador, while appreciating and thanking the ECO Secretary General for his receptivity and briefing on important ECO affairs, expressed keenness to move forward for developing the intended working collaboration with ECO in the mutually beneficial fields of cooperation.
