The ECO Secretary General, His Excellency Ambassador Khusrav Noziri met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran, H.E. Mr. Ali Alizada on September 22, 2021.
Ambassador Ali Alizada, while felicitating the Secretary General for his new assignment, expressed Azerbaijan's active engagement in implementation of the agenda of the Organization, especially in the fields of connectivity, trade, agriculture and tourism.
The Secretary General congratulated Ambassador Ali Alizada for assuming the post of Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran, as well as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the ECO and expressed hope that full-fledged cooperation in the ECO Region will further be strengthened for the benefit of the Member States.
