Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to I.R. Iran H.E. Mr. Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi visited the Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization on December 6, 2023 and held a courtesy meeting with ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri.
During the meeting, the two sides mulled over different aspects of inter-regional cooperation, focusing on the potential advantages of joint economic activities. In this context, they mutually desired collaboration between ECO and Saudi Arabia. The intended relationship could be established through facilitation by other important regional organizations, specifically the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Islamic Development Bank and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, the meeting noted.
Both sides stood enthused for continuing dialogue to expedite the materialization of their economic cooperation.
