ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri participated in a panel discussion at the Third Antalya Diplomacy Forum, on March 2, 2024. The panel titled “New Dynamics of Cooperation in Eurasia” focused on enhancing regional connections and cooperation.
The panel discussion also brought together the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan H.E. Sirojiddin Muhriddin as well as the Secretary-General of CICA Ambassador Kairat Sarybay and the Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments Mr. Elchin Amirbayov. The discussants contributed their viewpoints on the necessity of a unified approach to tackle the complexities of today’s geopolitical landscape and to capitalize on shared interests for mutual benefit. The ECO Secretary General emphasized the pivotal role of connectivity in regional progress, stating that the Organization leads efforts in bridging its Member States through infrastructure like roads, rails, and digital networks. He also highlighted the importance of fostering economic and cultural exchanges as fundamental elements for building strong, lasting partnerships.
