Economic Cooperation Organization

On March 5, a group of young Tajik diplomats, attending training course at the School of International Relations (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran, visited the Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to acquire knowledge about ECO and its activities.

On March 5, a group of young Tajik diplomats, attending training course at the School of International Relations (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran, visited the Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to acquire knowledge about ECO and its activities.

The envoys were received by ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri who briefed the visitors on the background and structure as well as aims and objectives of the Organization.

The diplomats were also given presentations on ECO’s sectoral activities by Mr. Zahid Hussain Abbasi, Director for Trade & Investment, Mr. Akbar Khodaei, Director for Transport and Communications and Mr. Husnu Tekin, Director for Human Resources and Sustainable Development.
