The 27th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers held in Shusha featured the signature of the Charter of the Center by the Foreign Minister of Türkiye, H.E. Mr. Hakan Fidan.
Türkiye became the second Member State to sign the Charter of the ECO Clean Energy Center to be established in Baku.
As a flagship initiative in the energy sector, the Center will play a bridging role in improving regional cooperation for a smooth transition to sustainable energy.
The Center will also contribute to the Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centers in the framework of the UN’s Sustainable Energy for All Initiative.
