The First Meeting of ECO Heads of Investment Promotion Agencies (ECO-IPAs) was held on December 26, 2016 in Islamabad. The title of the Meeting was changed to ‘ECO Investment Promotion Agencies (ECO-IPAs) Forum in its first meeting. The next meeting is likely to be held this year.
The meeting will discuss and follow up the ECO initiatives on strengthening investment cooperation, developing a Road Map for implementation of the Investment-related component of the Multi-Dimensional Regional Trade and Investment Strategy, and identify Joint Venture possibilities in the ECO region.
