ECO-CCI, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (CCI&I TM) and ECO Secretariat held a meeting on 4th November 2021 at the ECO Secretariat to organize the upcoming 4th ECO Business Forum to be held at the sidelines of the 15th ECO Summit of Heads of Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization, scheduled on 26th November 2021 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan).
During the preparatory meeting for the 4th Business Forum, the participants discussed the draft programme of the event and relevant administrative and technical issues to ensure immaculate preparation for successful holding of the business forum in hybrid mode. The meeting allocated tasks to related organizers to complete finalization of arrangements by 15th November 2021.
The Programme of the 4th ECO Business Forum includes the following four sessions:
1. Expansion and activation of trade and economic cooperation between ECO Member States, including trade in goods and services, trade related payment clearance, customs and taxation matters (Moderator: Turkmenistan);
2. Digital trade and e-commerce market (Representatives of public and private sectors working in the field of digital technologies, e-commerce are invited to speak);
3. Investment opportunities, including trade related investments and the international best practices to increase investment attractiveness (Moderator: Turkey);
4. Development of the market of transport and logistics services in the ECO Member States (Representatives of public and private structures involved in the field of transport and logistics, as well as representatives of private transport and logistics companies are invited to speak).
The main organizers of the Forum are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (ECC&I TM), the ECO CCI and the ECO Secretariat.
