On October 26, 2023, representatives of Mana International Institute, an affiliated member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, visited the ECO Secretariat to explore ways of collaboration in tourism sector.
The CEO of the Institute Mr. Pouya Ghaemmaghami briefed ECO about their business portfolio and concentration areas, particularly organization of training programmes focused on the tourism service sectors. ECO Tourism Directorate also briefly explained ECO tourism objectives and current initiatives concerning tourism industry in ECO region.
The sides exchanged the views on how to cooperate in implementation of joint activities for enhancing tourism development in the ECO Member States.
