Economic Cooperation Organization

ECO Awards 2023 were presented during the 16th ECO Summit, held on November 9, 2023 in Tashkent. The Economic Cooperation Organization has a time-honoured tradition of cherishing its invaluable assets who contribute exceptionally to the advancement of the region through their academic and scientific endeavours. ECO Awards are presented during the Summit Meetings to academicians, researchers, scholars and scientists for their remarkable contributions in five fields of excellence such as agriculture & environment, education, economics, history, culture, literature & fine arts, and science & technology.

This year one candidate from each member state was selected after an in-depth screening by selection committee. Four awards were conferred in the field of history, culture, literature & fine arts, two in economics and one for each remaining field of excellence.

The next ECO Awards will be presented during the 17th ECO Summit.
