ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri was interviewed by the Jahonnamo TV of Tajikistan on December 13, 2023.
Held at the ECO Secretariat, the interview aimed at familiarizing the general public with the Organization as well as its role and activities in the context of regional economic cooperation. The Secretary General informed the Tajik TV about ECO’s background, objectives and important events and activities towards strengthening regional cooperation in ECO’s priority areas. Underlining the importance of economic cooperation and the unique role of ECO as a valuable forum for discussing regional issues at various levels, Ambassador Noziri reflected on the aspects of future cooperation in emerging areas such as green transformation, environment, food security and disaster resilience.
The Secretary General also briefly informed the TV about the cooperative relationship that exists between Tajikistan and ECO, as well as the country’s role in developing and enriching the agenda of the Organization.
