On the sidelines of the 34th meeting of the ECO Regional Planning Council, the ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri held bilateral meetings with the Head of the Azerbaijan Delegation Mr. Rovshan Mirzayev, Deputy Head Economic Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Head of the Uzbekistan Delegation Mr. Siroj Azizov, Deputy Head of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Head of the Turkish Cypriot State Delegation Mr. Mustafa Kemal Beyazbayram, Director of the OIC Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkish Cypriot State .
The interactions discussed some current items in the Organization’s agenda, including possible future events and projects in priority areas of regional cooperation, as well as the review process of Strategy 2025 and the way forward with preparations for the new Strategy document of the Organization that will follow-up the Strategy 2025.
