The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) organized its annual Nowruz celebration program on March 10, 2024.
Attended by the Secretary General of ECO, as well as representatives from diplomatic missions and government agencies, the celebration marked the joyful spirit of spring and renewal of nature.
Welcoming the guests, the ECI President H.E. Dr. Saad S. Khan underscored the meaning of Nowruz as a symbol of spring and refreshment, and its function as a common tradition throughout the ECO region that connects people through shared feelings. ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri also underlined the significance of Nowruz as a common cultural value standing for peace and joy, in his speech on the occasion.
