The Economic Cooperation Organization mourns the tragic loss of Iranian President H.E. Mr. Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister H.E. Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a helicopter crash yesterday.
President Raisi was a visionary leader dedicated to Iran’s progress and prosperity. His commitment to economic development and regional cooperation significantly advanced ECO’s goals, bolstering Iran’s regional stature.
Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, also ECO Chairman this year, played a pivotal role in enhancing regional cooperation and economic development. His leadership and efforts in diplomatic and economic collaboration were widely acclaimed.
