Within the framework of Antalya Diplomacy Forum on March 11, 2022, the ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri met with the Executive Director of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Ambassador Kairat Sarybay.
During the meeting, the two sides renewed their commitment to strengthen cooperation in priority areas of development, most prominently trade as well as transport and communication. The intent of such collaborative engagements is to pursue the identical regional development goals jointly by ECO and CICA.
CICA Executive Director invited the ECO Secretary General to participate in the CICA Summit to be held on October 12-13, 2022 in Nur-Sultan.
