ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad M. Khan paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Sayyid Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Foreign Minister extended his felicitations to Dr. Asad M. Khan on assuming his role as Secretary General of the ECO. The meeting focused on priorities and opportunities in the framework of regional economic cooperation, as well as preparations for some upcoming important events of the Organization.
Both sides underscored the critical importance of regional cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to bolstering economic diplomacy and enhancing collaboration among Member States.
