President of the ECO Trade and Development Bank Dr. Mohammad Hashem Botshekan visited ECO Secretariat.
Thanking President Botshekan for the support extended by ECO-TDB to the mission of ECO, Secretary General Dr. Khan emphasized the need to expand cooperation and to explore ways to secure adequate funding streams within the region.
During the meeting Dr. Khan and Dr. Botshekan stressed the need for strengthening the financial capacity of the Bank. They reviewed the existing collaboration between ECO and ECO-TDB, and discussed the ways to enhance the framework of cooperation, including funding avenues, to support more ECO projects aiming at strengthening regional cooperation in the priority sectors.
