The 265th Meeting of the ECO Council of Permanent Representatives (CPR) was held on June 27, 2022 in the ECO Secretariat under the Chairmanship of Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to ECO, H.E. Mr. Bakhodir Abdullayev.
Paying an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Amb. Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam, Secretary General of D-8 Organisation of Economic Cooperation visited the ECO Secretariat and addressed as the “Special Guest” to the 265th Meeting of the ECO Council of Permanent Representatives (CPR). He briefed the participants about the D-8, its member states, its vision, and its future strategies to materialise that vision.
Within the Agenda of the meeting, the Council discussed a wide range of issues related to the follow-up of the Brainstorming Session at the level of concerned Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs held at the Secretariat on May this year, the implementation of the outcomes of the 15th ECO Summit and 25th COM, as well as other issues concerning the Organization's activities.
