On 26 August 2025, the ECO Seed Association (ECOSA) convened the fifth session of its 2025 virtual meeting series, Current Status of Seed Sector and Investment Opportunities in Uzbekistan. The series has been designed to strengthen regional seed sector development, foster knowledge-sharing, and promote investment dialogue among ECO Member States.
During the session, Mr. Jakhongir Karimov and Ms. Nodira Yuldasheva delivered a comprehensive presentation on Uzbekistan’s seed sector. Their remarks highlighted the structure of the national seed system, regulatory and legal frameworks, seed certification processes, and prospects for strategic cooperation. An interactive Q&A session followed, with more than 80 participants from across the ECO region.
