A meeting between ECO Deputy Secretary General Amb. Jandos Asanov and Mr. Mariyan Zumbulev, Senior Programme Manager at the European Institute of Peace and Mr Bojidar Dimitrov, Head of UNAMA (United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan) in Tehran was held at the ECO Secretariat on November 17, 2025.
The meeting discussed about the three organizations’ activities in the fields of mutual interest. In particular, the ECO Deputy Secretary General informed the representatives about ECO’s engagement with Afghanistan, while Mr Zumbulev shared EIP’s efforts in facilitating dialogue and cooperation between regional actors.
The parties emphasized the importance of maintaining working links and partnership among themselves.
