The opening ceremony of the 19th International Exhibition of Police Safety & Security Equipment was held in Tehran on 17 October, 2022. The aim of the exhibition was to introduce the capabilities of police of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Chief Commander, Brigadier General of Law Enforcement Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Hossein Ashtari was the Chief Guest.
While welcoming the participants Mr. Ashtari briefed the audience about the aptitude/operations as well as diversity of activities of the Iranian police. He further briefed about their future determination/ambition to ensure peace and security for the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran. At the end of his speech he invited the participants to witness the exhibition.
Among the participants of the event were representatives from the diplomatic missions, international organizations accredited in the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as other high ranking military and law enforcement commanders from the Islamic Republic of Iran. ECO Deputy Secretary General Amb. J. Asanov represented the ECO Secretariat.
