On the sidelines of the International Forum on Peace and Trust, the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Dr. Asad M. Khan, called on H.E. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Peeple’s Council of Turkmenistan.
Dr. Khan expressed gratitude for Turkmenistan’s warm hospitality and exceptional arrangements during the fourn. He congratulated the National Leader on the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and acknowledged its constructive role in promoting peace, stability, and cooperation in the region and beyond.
The ECO Secretary General also acknowledged Turkmenistan’s invaluable contributions to ECO. The National Leader reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s committment to a more interconnected and prosperous region and pledged to support initiatives aimed at deepenening cooperation in the ECO region.
