An online Preparatory Expert-Level Meeting was convened on September 2, 2026, to review and finalize the Draft Turkistan Declaration for the 7th Meeting of the Attorneys/Prosecutors General of the ECO Member States.
The meeting was chaired by the representative of Kazakhstan, as the host country and Chair of the Meeting of Attorneys/Prosecutors General, and co-chaired and moderated by the ECO Secretariat team. Representatives of ECO Member States participated in the meeting.
Participants conducted a detailed review of the draft Declaration and considered the proposals and observations put forward by Member States. Member States agreed to continue consultations with a view to finalizing the text of the Turkistan Declaration ahead of the 7th Meeting of the Attorneys/Prosecutors General.
