The Ambassador of Türkiye to Iran and Permanent Representative to the ECO, H.E. Hicabi Kırlangıç paid a farewell call on the ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad M. Khan as he completed his tenure in Tehran.
During the meeting, the Secretary General thanked the Ambassador for his strong support to advancing regional cooperation within the ECO framework. Noting his scholarly expertise and deep understanding of the region, Dr. Khan wished the Ambassador to continue his efforts to bring the region together in his future work.
Acknowledging the fundamental role of ECO as a unique platform for regional economic cooperation, Ambassador Kırlangıç appreciated the Secretary General’s active efforts in advancing ECO agenda and reaffirmed his commitment to work for better regional integration.
