On 4 November 2026, Dr. Tekin, Director of Human Resources and Sustainable Development (HRSD), participated, on behalf of the ECO Secretariat, in the High-Level Expert Group Meeting of the Fifth Board of Trustees of the ECO Educational Institute (ECOEI).
During the meeting, Prof. M. Akif Kireçci, President of ECOEI, presented a comprehensive report on the Institute’s activities and programmes undertaken since the previous meeting. He also outlined the proposed programme of activities and the corresponding budget for 2027.
Representatives of ECO Member States expressed their support for the extension of Dr. Kireçci’s tenure as President of the Institute and endorsed the proposed programme of activities and budget for 2027.
The meeting brought together representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
