In keeping with the tradition, the Council of Ministers (COM) of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held their 18th Informal Meeting in New York on 27th Sep, 2011 on the eve of the 66th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Informal Meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Ahmet Davutoglu, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey as the current Chairman of the ECO COM. It was attended by the Foreign Ministers/Representatives of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Turkey. H.E. Mr. M. Yahya Maroofi, the ECO Secretary-General also participated in the Meeting.
