In the framework of the 1st Meeting of Tourism Specialized Education Institutions of the ECO Member States, the participants came together in a roundtable session to discuss potential areas of collaboration amongst the tourism education related stakeholders, on December 5, 2023.
The roundtable session covered the educational models for tourism sector in the Member States, joint tourism research and training programs such as certificate programs, online training, affiliate membership of universities, exchange of students and faculty members and peer-reviewed academic journals.
The meeting adopted the Baku Declaration which summarized the agreed issues as an outcome document of the event.
