Within the framework of his participation in the 26th Meeting of the Council of Ministers in Tashkent, the ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri was interviewed by the Donya Information Agency.
Talking to the news agency, the Secretary General underlined the importance of economic cooperation and the significant role of ECO to support the process of socio-economic development through enhanced efforts for greater regional integration. He also underscored the importance of 26th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers, being currently organized and hosted by the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
Ambassador Noziri also briefly highlighted the cooperative relationship that exists between Uzbekistan and ECO, as well as the country’s role to develop and enrich the agenda of the Organization particularly during its chairmanship of the Organization in 2022.
