The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) hosted a farewell reception in honor of Ambassador Khusrav Noziri, the outgoing Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), whose term is set to conclude on August 12, 2024.
The evening was marked by warm exchanges and reflections on Ambassador Noziri’s tenure, which was characterized by his unwavering commitment to strengthening ties between ECO and ECI. In his remarks, H.E. Dr. Saad Khan, President of the ECI, highlighted Ambassador Noziri’s steadfast support for the institute, noting that his leadership had been instrumental in advancing ECI’s cultural diplomacy initiatives across the region.
Ambassador Noziri expressed his gratitude to the ECI for their fruitful collaboration with ECO over the years. He emphasized the importance of continuing to build upon this partnership, which has played a crucial role in fostering cultural understanding and regional cooperation among ECO member states.
The reception was graced by the presence of Ambassadors and representatives from ECO member states, as well as heads of some international missions based in Tehran.
