Deputy Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Ambassador Jandos Asanov held a meeting with Dr. Hamidikia, the Deputy Head of the Regional and International Anti-Narcotics Police of Iran. The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration between the ECO Secretariat/Member States and Iranian Anti-narcotics Police.
Ambassador Asanov expressed appreciation for the invitation to the Joint Planning Cell (JPC) and reaffirmed the ECO’s commitment to enhancing cooperative efforts in combating narcotics trafficking. Both sides agreed to proceed with organizing the 2nd Meeting of Chiefs of Anti-Narcotics Police of the Member States and to organizing capacity building programs for officials from ECO member states.
