The Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) lowered its flag to half-mast to honour the victims of the devastating earthquakes that hit the south-eastern region of the Republic of Türkiye on February 6, 2023.
As a gesture of solidarity with the people of Türkiye, and to mourn this destructive event, the ECO flag lowering ceremony was held on February 7, 2023, following the declaration of a 7-day national mourning in the Republic of Türkiye.
