The Fourth ECO Ministerial Meeting on Industry, preceded by the Third High-Level Experts Group (HLEG) Meeting on Industry, will be held on 22–23 September 2026 in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, marking the resumption of ECO Ministerial-level engagement on industry after two decades. The Meeting will bring together Ministers and senior representatives of ECO Member States for high-level policy dialogue on regional industrial cooperation.
The Meeting will review progress under existing ECO mechanisms and consider practical avenues for strengthening cooperation in response to evolving regional and international developments. A key outcome will be the Dushanbe Declaration, to be considered for adoption by the Ministers, setting renewed direction for regional industrial cooperation.
Against the backdrop of rapid technological and industrial transformation, the Meeting will provide an opportunity to renew political momentum, strengthen collective engagement and advance practical cooperation, in line with the new Strategic Goals of Economic Cooperation -2035.
On the morning of the Ministerial session, delegations will participate in the International Textile Forum, organized by the Republic of Tajikistan, bringing together government representatives and industry stakeholders from the region and beyond.
