The Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Dr. Asad M. Khan held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Both sides discussed commonalities and enhancing collaboration between the two organizations, emphasizing the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2007.
Dr. Khan highlighted the forthcoming 17th ECO Summit, scheduled for July 3-4, 2025, in Khankendi, Azerbaijan, and expressed anticipation for the participation of his SCO counterpart in the event.
