The ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri met with the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Mukhtar Tileuberdi on January 24, 2023.
The bilateral interaction, arranged on the sidelines of the 26th Meeting of ECO Council of Ministers (COM), reviewed some recent global developments, cooperation amongst the ECO Member States, issues of mutual concerns as well as some areas of common interest, including trade, transport, energy, tourism, etc.
Reaffirming Kazakhstan’s relentless support to ECO, the Honourable Minister emphasized for more cooperation and coordination amongst the Member States that, he considered, unavoidable to secure strong regional integration.
The ECO Secretary General thanked the Honorable Minister for his participation in the 26th COM Meeting, acknowledging Kazakhstan’s notable contribution to support and facilitate the ECO’s Agenda. He looked forward to Kazakhstan and other Member States to continue shouldering ECO’s efforts for sustainable socioeconomic progress and development in the region.
