ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad M. Khan met with the Ambassador of the Philippines to the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. Roberto G. Manalo.
Dr. Khan informed the Ambassador about the ECO, as well as the Joint ECO-ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, held in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, on September 27, 2024. The meeting noted that establishing a solid network between ECO and the ASEAN embassies both in Tehran and Jakarta can fast track the process of operationalization of elements agreed to between ECO and ASEAN under the Framework of Cooperation.
